Day 57

Moved on from Dubois to a campsite near to Jackson. 86 miles, including getting slightly lost and finally arriving in campsite after dark. Fabulous views of the snowcapped Teton mountains into the Grand Teton national park. Bear risk in this area (black bears and grizzly's apparently) therefore all food has to be in bear boxes overnight. We climbed yet another large mountain as part of todays journey up to 9500 again.
We have a new companion, who has joined up with us for a few days. His name is Daniel, from Germany, photo below.

  1. The Tetons look magnificent. Is there any special advice for cyclists in bear country? I've only hiked not biked in that part of the world.
