Started the day at 6.30am with a juke box blasting Bruce Springsteen singing 'further on up the road' played live in Dublin, a great version ( available on youtube if interested). The owner of the bar seemed to like to start the day with a selection from the juke box, very entertaining.
Jeffrey City's only bar, cafe, restaurant and restroom, 'The split rock Cafe', served us dinner and breakfast alongside the cardboard cutout of John Wayne and various mounted Moose and Deer heads. We camped on a patch of grass next to the bar. Like many of our encounters and stops, it was again hard to believe we were still in the same century of our lives in England.
We then cycled to Lander about 60 miles. The journey seemed to take us most of the day. I think we had slowed with the prospect of a day off tomorrow.
The countryside is spectacular, hard to convey in photos. We can cycle for miles without seeing any houses. Today 60 miles was without any services, just one restroom along the way.
