Over the Mississippi to Missouri today. Relatively short distance of 49 miles to Farmington, Missouri.
Tomorrow we will start climbing into the Ozark mountains, yet more hills!!! Varying reports as to the difficulty of the hills and contributory difficulties of dogs. We shall see!!!

So many happy memories of the Ozarks in Missouri. Will you be venturing anywhere near the Branson area? That's where Marse's family (on her father's side) are from, and where I spent two wonderful Thanksgivings. Would love to go back and do some cycling there.
ReplyDeleteHow are the legs feeling?
Cheers,
Gail.
PS Have you seen the film 'Winter's Bone'?
DeleteHi Gail, no we are a little north of Branson and really enjoying the Ozarks. I have not seen the film you mentioned. Is it based in this area?
ReplyDeleteMy legs seem to be managing ok, not too many aches and pains and most of the climbs are out of the way till the Rockies. Thanks a lot for your encouraging comments, they really help keep me going.
Yes the film is based in the Ozarks. I really liked it.
ReplyDeleteMissouri brings old romantic westerns to mind! Sounds like you're having a great time Sally.....Take care, Liz xxx
