Day 23

Started with yet another trip to a bike shop, some minor repairs and tweaks. This is the last one we will pass on route for about 600 miles(can you believe that!) So we thought we ought to take advantage. Excellent shop www.dbfky.com run by father and son, elder of the pair excellent bike mechanic.
Carried on along our route to Bardstown, Kentucky approx 57 miles. Set up camp late with rather meagre supplies of dried macaroni cheese requiring reconstituting. This was very gratefully supplemented by 3 half litres of ice cream from some generous fellow campers. Can you believe it? We ate almost all of it and what is left Martin is set to try for breakfast. The evening was nicely rounded off by some impromptu jamming of local music by some other campers.
