Day 19

Arrived in Lookout Kentucky(finally Kentucky still mountainous) a few miles in and so far so good with the dogs, but I suspect this won't last. I don't think I've ever done such continuous daily hard cycling as I have in the last week. We are spending the night in a cyclist shelter ( a hall with floor mats, kitchen and showers). Met three American guys from Phoenix on the same route who had arrived before us and already cooked food for us to share. Nice guys, but strange to meet such advocates of the right to bear arms, definitely different culture, hard to understand.
We had planned to buy some beer for the end of our day, but this county is dry. Alcohol can be bought in the next county but not here.
