The Summer of 2013 - Coast to Coast USA.
This blog has been put together to allow friends, family and interested onlookers the opportunity to follow my bicycle trip across America.
The hope is that readers will find the blogs interesting and even amusing. Please feel free to write comments. Encouragement particularly welcome.
Hi Sally I was just thinking "I wonder if Sally is on her way yet" and here you are on Day 2. Hope all's going well so far. Looking forward to reading about your experiences and how you find cycling in the USA. At the moment, having earlier today completed my first ever 100 km sportive - 5 hours of cycling in some of the nastiest, wettest and windiest weather you are likely to encounter in the Grampian hills in May, I am thinking that anything would be an improvement on that! Cheers, Gail. PS In case you are wondering, 'Bouncing Bertie' is the name of my wire haired fox terriers long running blog...
